This relatively new Bath and Body Works lotion is unlike any of their others I’ve smelled. The scent is kind of a clean linen with a touch of sea and a tiny drop of sweetness. It’s one of their lighter scents. I bought it mainly because of the name, I think; I’m from the South. Ha! But it’s neat for when you want something not perfumey.

The first whiff from Sea Island Cotton by Bath & Body Works reminded me of some fresh cotton from when I was a child. That alone was enough to make me love the scent. But it is much more than that. It is also has the scent of the sea mixed with fresh linen. I guess you could say it smells like fresh linen hanging on the line at the beach, with a bucket of fresh cotton next to it on the ground! That pretty much sums it up.
This fresh and lovely scent, with a hint of the exotic, needs 100 stars in my book!

Not spectacular. I spend lots of money with Bath and Body Works to get a really beautiful scent that I can’t get with drugstore lotions. Unfortunately, while it does its job of softening your skin, the scent is minimal. What scent is there wears off in a couple minutes.
I’d recommend any of the other lotions except this one just because it doesn’t really seem to be worth the money it is asking for.
